Caryn has been a social worker for the past seventeen years. Most of her experience has been working in schools with children in kindergarten through high school. She has worked with children who have a variety of behavioral and mental health issues. In particular, she has vast experience with children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, executive functioning issues, and emotional disturbances including anxiety and depression. She has also worked as a consultant to children and families in the daycare and pre-school settings. She considers herself an advocate for children and families.
In addition to specializing in children/adolescents, families and school related issues, Caryn has many years experience working with individuals and couples. She is intuitive and creative in her approach and excellent at meeting her clients "where they are at" and helping them move forward and grow.
