"I believe that making the decision to see a therapist is a sign of courage and strength, and that therapy is a unique, personal process of growth and healing for each individual." I am an experienced, friendly, down to earth therapist who brings warmth, humor, hope and compassion to my counseling work. My approach is supportive, solution-oriented and interactive. My goal is to create a safe and accepting space, in which together we can explore your experiences, hopes, and goals.
Marriage and couples counseling is my other area of expertise. Having been trained in Imago Relationship Therapy, I offer couples easily designed ways to better relate, increase closeness and intimacy, create healthy boundaries, and work through projections and triggers. Helping couples better communicate with each other about what each person needs to feel loved, cared for, connected, and safe, and changing hurtful behavior is an important part of this specialized therapy. I take pride in having helped many couples re-connect, improve their relationships, and grow together.
